In the few months I've been with WebSharks, the [s2Member-List /] shortcode has been one of the most frequent topics I've seen. How do I make a membership directory? Why doesn't the [s2Member-List /] shortcode display this? Can I use a search to display a membership list? In this article, I'm going to show you how to use the [s2Member-List /] shortcode. We'll start with a simple list of members and finish with a photo gallery created using a custom template for the shortcode. There is a list ...
The WordPress Shortcode API is a simple way for site owners to produce content in their Posts/Pages without needing to write any HTML or PHP code. For instance, WordPress itself makes it possible for you to insert an image gallery using: [gallery id="123" size="medium"] (a WordPress shortcode). However, we stopped advertising and/or featuring these integrations in any official way approximately 2 years ago. To clarify, we will not be working to enhance or update the existing integration with ccBi...
PayPal recently emailed all merchants with details about an upcoming change in the case_id that is sent in dispute-related IPN data, which PayPal sends to s2Member and s2Member Pro behind-the-scenes. This change has no impact on the s2Member or s2Member Pro software, because it is the event itself (e.g., dispute or chargeback) that s2Member will respond to (if configured to do so). We look for txn_type and case_type. The case_id is of no importance to s2Member or s2Member Pro at this time. In...
It's a known fact that having an affiliate program is one of (if not, the) most powerful way to market your products or services online. If you run a membership site you should seriously consider adding an affiliate program. You can even market an affiliate program if you like. But really, just having an affiliate program link at the bottom of your pages will get you started; i.e., other site owners will find it, and if your offering has value, they will help you market it! Why? Quite simply,...
